PCI DSS Virtual Workshop 2021

June 15-17, 2021 The Evolution of Payments and Compliance

The PCI DSS Virtual Workshop 2021 will focus on preparing for PCI DSS v4.0 and will introduce new sessions about other current and upcoming payment methods. In the last 15 years payments have moved rapidly from cash to electronic, from a low perceived risk to a clear and present threat. As schools adapt to changing environmental and consumer demands they must be keenly aware of the compliance and risk mitigation measure surrounding the evolving payments landscape. What was once simple has become diverse and complicated.
  • How have PCI payment channels evolved?
  • What risks do these evolving payment methods carry for PCI DSS?
  • What are the preferred payment methods of students, parents, and the general public?
  • How can schools adopt and integrate these into existing systems and processes?
  • What should we be preparing for in the future?
  • What is changing with PCI DSS v4.0?
