The Board of Directors, Staff, and Program Committee Members are dedicated to making this new virtual program responsive to the needs of College and University administrators. Specifically, this program is targeted to higher education, tax-exempt bonds. Participants who benefit from this program include debt managers on campus, treasury staff, chief financial officers, and any other professionals on campus who want to enhance their familiarity with the compliance requirements of tax-exempt bonds. It will also provide an opportunity for other staff to learn the basics of bonds, how to plan for the issuance of bonds, the major players in bond markets, and the actual issuance and compliance responsibilities associated with tax-exempt debt. By the end of the five-course sequence, participants will understand the basic requirements in this unusual sector with a heavy emphasis on business activities. The Treasury Institute for Higher Education, as its mission, rests heavily on practitioner-led education and this new program is no different.
